Terms of Service

Last updated: [Month DD, YYYY]

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QR Code Generator / QRForge service operated by Taz ("Taz," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. The Service

QRForge allows users to create static and dynamic QR codes, customize their design, manage destination URLs, and review scan analytics for supported plans.

Features, pricing, scan limits, dashboard access, and plan entitlements may change over time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to create, host, or distribute QR codes that:

We may suspend, disable, or remove QR codes or accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or create security, legal, or reputational risk.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content, links, logos, and other materials you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that content only as needed to operate the service and provide the features you request.

You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use the content you submit.

5. Dynamic QR Codes and Availability

Dynamic QR codes depend on our redirect infrastructure being available. If you cancel a paid plan, exceed plan limits, or close your account, some dynamic QR features may stop working or may be limited in line with your current plan.

You are responsible for reviewing your plan limits, including any limits on the number of dynamic codes, analytics access, or related usage.

6. Payments, Renewals, and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed as recurring subscriptions through Paddle. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge the applicable subscription fees, taxes, and related charges.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. You may cancel through Paddle's billing flow or any cancellation method we make available. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and canceling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a prorated refund.

If a payment fails or your subscription ends, we may downgrade your account, limit access to paid features, or suspend dynamic QR functionality until billing is resolved.

7. Intellectual Property

We retain all rights in the QRForge service, including the software, branding, design, and platform infrastructure. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service itself to you.

8. Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party providers, including Paddle, Vercel, and Neon. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or failures caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

We do not guarantee that every QR code will be error-free, continuously available, or suitable for every business, regulatory, or compliance requirement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taz will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Taz from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your QR code content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, used the service in a harmful way, or created legal, financial, or security risk.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Taz is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms should be sent through the support contact listed on the QR Code Generator website.
